Formerly Georgina Martina Inc., Courage Collective Family Violence Services has provided family violence support to adults, children, and young people for over 50 years. The name Courage Collective reflects our vision of a society in which everyone plays a role in breaking the cycle of family violence. Together we can protect, care for, and empower each other, and find the courage to start again.
We offer safe accommodation, case management support, and therapeutic programs for adults, young people, and children affected by family violence. The people we support come to us with a wide range of complex, intersecting needs, and we meet these needs with a holistic, trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach to recovery.

Traditional Owners of Country
We deliver our services on the unceded land of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the traditional and ongoing custodians of the lands on which we live and work, and we pay respects to Elders past and present.

We are committed to providing a respectful and safe space for all staff and victim-survivors, including those who are First Nations, who identify as LGBTIQA+, people who are from migrant and refugee communities, and people with disability.
Honouring victim-survivors
We honour the strength and resilience of adults, children, and young people who have experienced family violence and recognise that it is essential that responses to family violence are informed by their expert knowledge and advocacy. We pay respect to those who have not survived and acknowledge the lasting impacts of this preventable violence on families and communities. We recognise that victim-survivors’ courage to seek help empowers Courage Collective to respond. Their stories inspire and motivate our work.
